Recent Government Circular on Private School Registration

Major Highlights

School Catchment Area Mapping and Child Survey begins from 22nd January 2010
(22-26 January, 2010)

In pursuance with the Government’s commitment to enroll all children of school going age by 2011, the Government has taken different initiatives through the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) under Ministry of Primary and Mass Education (MoPME) including a Child Survey for collecting information about children of school going age and mapping School Catchment Area. The Child Survey will be held from 22nd January to 26 January 2010.

DPE has specially requested CAMPE to promote this campaign for public awareness and cooperation. As a national coalition of NGOs working towards the implementation of program interventions in the education sector, CAMPE always plays a supplementary role for the Government initiatives through its partners. CAMPE partners have always been supportive. We hope tat our partners will be proactive once again and disseminate this information among its stakeholders and ensure that no children are missed out.
