Sharing Session of Education Watch 2007 (Draft Report)

A multi stakeholder Sharing Session of Education Watch 2007 (Draft Report) on “Secondary Education under General and Madrasa streams: Curriculum, Learning Achievement and Employment Opportunities" was held at the RDEC Auditorium of LGED on 8th April 2008. The sharing session was jointly organized by Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE) & Education Watch Group. The Sharing Session was chaired by Kazi Fazlur Rahman, Chairperson, Education Watch & Adviser, Former Caretaker Government. Mr. Md. Azizul Haq, Director in Charge, CAMPE welcomed everyone in the session. The major findings and policy recommendations of the study were presented jointly by Dr. A. M. R. Chowdhury, Convener, Education Watch Group & Principle Researcher, Education Watch Study 2007, Dr. Umme Salma Begum, Research Team Member, Education Watch Study 2007 and Mr. Samir Ranjan Nath, Member, Education Watch Working Group & Co-principal Researcher, Education Watch Study 2007. About 90 interested representatives from civil society, government departments, researchers, teachers, students, donor agencies, international organizations and private organizations were present in the Sharing Session.
