Program Officer (Research Monitoring Evaluation and Documentation)

Job Description / Responsibility:
The jobholder will perform the following responsibilities in accordance with CAMPE policies and procedures:

  • Provide operational support to the Deputy Programme Manager

  • Assist in survey and research projects of the RMED Unit

  • Compile data and information and help in preparing draft monthly, quarterly, annual and project completion reports of CAMPE

  • Help in analysing data and information for drafting research reports

  • Help in organizing and conducting training related to research and study

  • Help in running a data- base on non-formal education

  • Provide various data to the GO and NGOs at different levels

  • Assist in preparing project proposal and budget for different activities of RMED Unit

  • Organise meeting, seminar, workshop at national, regional and local level

  • Prepare periodic work plan for unit and compile organizational work plan

  • Assist junior staff for professional development

  • Undertake field visits as and when necessary

  • Perform the responsibility as per his/her level to mainstream the gender aspects/ issues/consideration through his/her works and activities to achieve the gender equity in the organization and its Programmes

  • Undertake other activities as and when deemed necessary or as directed by the authority.

 

Educational Requirements: At least Master’s degree in Statistics, Sociology or in any discipline of the Social Science.

Experience Requirements: 5 to 7 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Age below or equal to 35 year(s)

  • 5 to 7 year(s) working experience in research and documentation in any development or research organization of which at least 2-3 years in the similar position

  • Vision for developmental issues and project implementation

  • Good verbal and written communication skills both in English and Bangla

  • Ability to conduct research and documentation activities

  • Knowledge on data management, analysis and interpretation

  • Good report writing and presentation skills

  • Excellent resource planning skills

Accounts Officer

No. of Vacancies: 1

Job Description / Responsibility:
The jobholder will perform the following responsibilities in accordance with CAMPE policies and procedures:

  • Recording and posting of all daily transactions in the books of accounts/accounting software package

  • Ensure all accounting source documents are accurately preserved and all financial activities are conducted in a true and fair manner

  • Prepare monthly report on all proceeds, contributions, miscellaneous loans, outstanding debts, advances, and income tax deductions, as required by management

  • Prepare monthly payroll sheet

  • Check appropriateness of transactions, their procedural accuracy and arithmetic accuracy of supporting documents prior to posting in the books of account

  • Reconcile with cashier daily cash in hand balance at the end of days work

  • Assist Deputy Manager (Finance & Accounts) to prepare budget variance analysis

  • Prepare bank reconciliation statement at the end of each month

  • Perform the responsibility as per his/her level to mainstream the gender aspects/ issues/consideration through his/her works and activities to achieve the gender equity in the organization and its Programmes

Educational Requirements: Masters degree in Accounting/Finance/C.A course completed.

Experience Requirements: 5 to 7 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Age below or equal to 35 year(s)

  • 5-7 years working experience in Finance/Accounts department of which at least 2-3 years experience in the similar position in case of CA Course completed incumbent in Finance/Accounts department in any reputed organization

  • Excellent Computer skills (MS office, Spreadsheet)

  • Knowledge on financial policies and procedures

  • Ability to prepare budget, proficiency in cost analysis and cost effectiveness

  • Good financial report preparation skills

Job Description / Responsibility:
The jobholder will perform the following responsibilities in accordance with CAMPE policies and procedures:

  • Provide operational support to the supervisor(s)

  • Liaise with different NGOs, civil society groups and media on cross- sectoral activities in implementing the Unit programme

  • Assist in publication of monthly Shakkharata Bulletin and other publications

  • Assist in holding workshops, press conference, seminars etc on different issues

  • Prepare monthly activity report and meeting minutes of the unit

  • Assist in preparing proposals and budget for the programmes/activities of the unit

  • Develop advocacy materials

  • Assist in organizing campaign at both grassroots and national level

  • Undertake field visits as and when necessary

  • Perform the responsibility as per his/her level to mainstream the gender aspects/ issues/consideration through his/her works and activities to achieve the gender equity in the organization and its Programmes.

  • Perform other functions as and when assigned by the higher authority.

Educational Requirements: At least Master’s degree preferably in Social Science. Requirement of degree may be relaxed in case of an otherwise highly experienced and competent person.

Experience Requirements: 5 to 7 year(s)

  • 5-7 years working experience in development or communication related organizations of which at least 2-3 years in the similar position

  • Background in research activities and publication would be an additional qualification

  • Network with different persons and institutions and maintain close contact with mass-media

  • Undertake field visits as and when necessary

  • Perform the responsibility as per his/her level to mainstream the gender aspects/ issues/consideration through his/her works and activities to achieve the gender equity in the organization and its Programmes

  • Perform other functions as and when assigned by the higher authority.
