The signature campaign in support of Global Call to Action Against Poverty (GCAP) was completed on 30th June, 2005. The campaigners collected thousands of signatures from different locations in Dhaka. Thousands of people joined the campaign along with their family, friends and colleagues. With the support of millions of people around the world we are building up the pressure and showing that we are a force that cannot be ignored.

It is time for world leaders to recognize that poverty is not an inherent curse that one is born with but an injustice imposed upon by world leaders. Thank you all for joining us to help raise our voice against poverty and remind the G-8 group “Don’t break your promises that you yourself had made in 2000” to eradicate poverty.
